My name is Rachel, and I am the owner of Aqueous Colon Therapy. I have trained and worked extensively in theatre in Major Hospitals. I have a background in Paramedical Science and a Cert IV in Age Care Support, having spent a great deal of time in operating theatres and assisted in many colonoscopies. When I started to experience gut issues myself, I was motivated to learn more about the importance of gut function to our overall good health. During this learning, I discovered colon hydrotherapy. I personally have been having Colon Hydrotherapy for over 17 years.
As I dove deeper into Gut Health and Colonics, I could see there was an opportunity for me to help people who are struggling with issues of the Gut. I have discovered that Colon Hydrotherapy or Colon Irrigation is a treatment for maintaining a healthy and functioning bowel.
I trained and received qualification from The Australian Colon Health Institute in Melbourne, I am also a member of The Global Professional Association for Colon Therapy. As a therapist, you not only need to be able to listen carefully to your client while you complete a full case history, but you also need to be able to perform the actual treatment, assess what the body is doing during the treatment and give health advice based upon what is revealed throughout the procedure. Many clients are hugely relieved to find someone who will listen to, understand, and explain their bowel problems and offer effective solutions. Knowing that they are not alone and that you understand their needs brings a lot of hope to people who may have struggled with digestive issues for many years.
